Eugene German (ex Beijing D.) agreed terms with Mayaguez

Indios de Mayaguez (BSN) strengthened their roster with the addition of 28-year-old American 183cm point guard Eugene German (college: NIU). He moved there from Shougang Beijing Ducks in the Chinese CBA league, but the plans were changed. In 48 games, he recorded very impressive stats: 18.3ppg, 3.2rpg, 4.8apg, and 1.0spg last season.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career, he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Asia, and North America) in six different countries. German has played professionally in China (Sturgeons and Eagles), Greece (Ionikos), Turkey (Merkezefendi), The Basketball Tournament (Sideline Cancer), NBA Summer League (Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns), and TBL (Kokomo Bobkats).
He played in the final of the Chinese League in 2025, among many awards. He was voted to the Asia-Basket.com All-Chinese League Honorable Mention back in 2023.
German graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2020 and is currently in his sixth season playing professional basketball.
